The Step 4Ward Centre is open to:

1. Anyone over the age of 18 years who has learning difficulties.
2. The activities will be tailored to meet their individual needs, based on their personal assessment. A person Centred Care Plan is formalised for each person who uses the Centre. This means the service will fit the needs of an individual as opposed to the individual fitting the service.
3. The care plan will be reviewed every six months or before if circumstances have changed.
4. Improve quality of life through empowerment, encouraging advocacy and self-advocacy.
5. To promote a greater degree of community integration for users of the Step 4ward Day Centre.
6. The Step 4ward Day Centre aims to promote each individual's cultural needs.
7. The Step 4ward Day Centre promotes diversity and equality.
